The Imperial Art Alliance (IAA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting the visual arts in the Sugar Land area. Since its founding by Elaine Fuller in 1983, the IAA has become well known in the community through its various art shows, competitions, workshops and demonstrations. The IAA also awards scholarships to Sugar Land area students who are enrolled in an art program at a local community college. Membership in the IAA provides local artists with the stimulation needed to develop artistic talent and skill and a forum to share and learn different mediums, show and sell your work, create marketing plans for your art, network with other local artists and form lasting friendships.
