About Us
The Imperial Art Alliance (IAA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting the visual arts in the Sugar Land and surrounding areas. Since its founding by Elaine Fuller in 1983, the IAA has become well known in the community through its various art shows, competitions, workshops and demonstrations. Membership in the IAA provides local artists of all ages and skill levels with opportunities to develop artistic talent, skills, and a forum to share and learn different mediums, show and sell your work, network with other local artists and form lasting friendships.
Monthly Meetings
General meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month, September through June, from 10am-12pm at the Imperial Park Recreation Center located at 234 Matlage Way, Sugar Land, TX 77478. Saturday meetings feature an artist demonstration or a guest speaker. General meetings are open to members and first time IAA visitors. If you like what you see, you can become a member after the meeting. Board meetings are typically held the second Monday of the month, September through June, at 6:30 pm at Cafe Goo Goo Yen in Sugar Land.
