Tips in Landscape Painting

As the winner of many awards for her pastel work, including a gold medal bestowed by the International Association of Pastel Societies as a Master Pastel Artist, Linda Dellandre is pleased to share her tips on how to use pastels.

Many questions her students want to know is how these paintings develop from start to finish, and what technical procedures to use.
 In response, Linda Dellandre has certain "pearls" that help students remember the do's and don'ts of landscape painting and
how the pastel is applied in that regard. 

Linda Dellandre is  represented by three galleries in Texas - Davis and Blevins, St Jo; Designworks Gallery in Galveston; and The Gallery at Round Top in Round Top. She has also been represented for a long time by Navarro Art in Sedona, Az.

Sponsored by the Imperial Art Alliance and held at SLACG on February 20th, 2-3:30 PM meeting with 3:30-6:00 Workshop following. Bowls were painted and fired to be auctioned for donations to the Houston Food bank. Images from the event are below.
