barbara Hawkins
Barbara’s favorite mediums are pastel and oil. Land, sky, water and animals are her favorite subjects. She is inspired by the play of light and shadow, the sun peeking through the clouds, the expression on an animal’s face and the movement of waves in the ocean. She is trying to capture those fleeting moments and render them in paint. Her work can be seen in The Holland Street Gallery, Bellville, TX; The Downtown Art Gallery, Brenham, TX; and The VogelsangArt Gallery, Rosenberg, TX
