ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ron began painting lessons with his grandmother when he was 10 years old. He began taking commissions, winning awards, and providing art services at 13 years old. He was determined to pursue a career as a professional artist. His commissioned murals, portraits, sculptural maps, relief panels, large collage illustrations, custom impact pieces, as well as, children’s books illustrations, comprise his extensive portfolio in both corporate and public collections. Ron is known for his bold use of color and organic compositions in large acrylic paintings and torn-paper collage artwork. He graduated from University of Southern Mississippi where he received his BFA in 1974. His experience includes art teacher, freelance graphic artist and illustrator, Dakota Loft Gallery curator, and Director of Houston ArtCrawl.

This is necessary for your entries to be eligible for the LSAG Convention Show. Email: imperialartalliance@outlook.com. Don't worry if you don't receive your login credentials before the registration deadline. As long as we receive your entry form you'll be set for our show. Once you have received your login information go to https://lsagtx.weebly.com/enter.html to enter the database. You will have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to find the button. While you're scrolling you should take a few minutes to read all that information before the button. It's a lot of text but it's important.
