WORKSHOP
Repurposed glass art. This is not your grandma's mosaic! Come create your own glass art. Arrange colorful glass pieces on an 8 x 10" canvas, in a 3-D effect and then pour resin. No glue, no grout, no skills needed. All supplies and instruction included.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
After growing up in a family that always had a craft project going, Linda Strickland attended her first watercolor class with Jean Weeks in 1997. She has since then had the pleasure to study under Charles Reid, Mel Stabin, Don Andrews, Liz Hill, and Ann Winchester which reinforced her love of loose drippy paint in a color filled, unfinished water color.
Linda, loves painting nature and painting in nature – especially on her front porch overlooking the bayou. Linda has dabbled in all kinds of painting on all types of surfaces, but her favorite medium is transparent watercolor with the excitement it brings. Growing from a love of sea glass and stained glass, Linda has recently added glass art with resin to her list of favorite mediums.
