Golden Lecture Demo Mixed Media
Golden Mixed Media Lecture Demo This comprehensive lecture covers a wide variety of techniques and tools that fall into the broad category of mixed media. Learn all about working with gels and molding pastes, creating washes and stains, collage, combining imagery, working with stencils, creating encaustic and resin looks with acrylic, fabric applications, drawing with pencils and pastel on acrylic surfaces, using paint markers, acrylic transfers, and more. Whether you are a traditionalist or lean towards abstraction, a beginner painter or an experienced artist, this lecture provides a ton of great technical information and inspiration for innovative creative applications. Bring your questions, try some new products, learn some new techniques and go home with a sample selection of the products discussed during the demo.
Acrylic Pouring Worshop
Workshop exploring eight different acrylic "pouring" techniques using GAC 800, GOLDEN High Flow and GOLDEN Fluid paints. Participants will complete at least five 6" x 6" canvases and "skins" which can be used in collage, jewelry making, bookbinding or other mixed media use.

Maureen Seeba is a professional artist and teacher represented in more than twelve galleries in the United States and in Australia. Her work is found in public and private collections, including Chase Bank, NYC; American Map Company, NYC; Robert W. Baird Investments in Charleston, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Tampa, Charleston, Houston; The Peace Museum, Chicago; Arlington Memorial Hospital and Invesco, in Texas, among many others. Seeba is the recipient of numerous awards, including the National Endowment for the Arts Prize, 1991, funded by Rockefeller Foundation and DiverseWorks; sponsorship by the Greek Government to Dimitria, bi-annual cultural exhibition, 1993; solo exhibition at BORSA Gallery, Istanbul, Turkey, [sponsored by Mimar Sinan University, 1995] and client sponsorship to Queensland, Australia, 2008 and 2010 as well as an upcoming exhibition at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Art in Texas. Her work is available from multiple galleries around the United States, including Studio 84 West in Ojai, CA. Maureen’s teaching style is encouraging, effusive and simple.
