ABOUT THE ARTIST: TOM OHMAN
I lived in Minnesota for most of my life. My career was in education teaching math and psychology for 9 years and 22 years as a high school principal. We moved to Texas shortly after I retired in 1999. That marked the beginning of my spending more time on art, especially drawing. I have worked with many mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolor and charcoal. Lately I've been working with ink, pencil and charcoal doing portraits of people I meet and subjects that interest me, especially scenes from around the area and world.
